Here, it is common to see the Lammergeyer, Little Bustard, Kingfisher or Goshawk. This biodiversity makes Somontano an exceptional place for lovers of ornithology.
Through 15 birdwatching routes, you can discover a small sample of the biological richness of Guara Somontano. Choose the ecosystem that interests you most — rocky, riverine or steppe — and explore its wildlife. With the help of your binoculars and a little patience, it will be relatively easy to spot the red kite, griffon vulture, European bee-eater, the European roller, the eagle-owl, the European scops owl, the common kingfisher, the common bustard, the great spotted woodpecker and the common crane.
