Ros Palomos pool, the Bosque de Hierro and the town of Salas Bajas.

Route description

This is an ideal route for nordic walking as it runs mainly along tracks in perfect condition, some of which are asphalted.

It coincides with the regional hiking route with the same name, which is signposted. More information here.

Starting at Salas Bajas, the path begins by crossing the road in the direction of the Ariño ravine, where the Ros Palomos pool is located. The last stretch to this beautiful spot is a footpath. After enjoying the pool and its waterfall, the route returns to Salas Bajas along the track, between vineyards and fi elds. At the end you can extend the route slightly by visiting the sculpture of the Bosque de Hierro (Iron Forest), formed by iron beams that resemble twisted tree trunks.
