So… What should I visit? You can start your visit in the medieval village of Alquézar, a locality situated in the final stretch of the River Vero Canyon, where you must visit the castle and the Santa María collegiate church, the Museum of Sacred Art or the ancient main plaza; a walk through its streets which will mesmerise you to past times. If you want to know the beauty of its landscapes, approach yourself to one of its overlooks… If you have time, we advise you to make the route of the Walkways, an itinerary that lasts one hour and a half by the last stretch of the River Vero.

During the afternoon it is the turn for Barbastro, the capital city of Somontano and place of historic and artistic interest since 1975. Along your walk through the streets of this city, you can visit the Somontano Interpretive Centre, the Wine Space and its spectacular Cathedral, the Diocesan Museum… It is also interesting to visit a winery included in the Somontano Wine Route, where you will be shown the cellar facilities as well as the process of wine elaboration.
