“Pyrene, what do you feel like doing tomorrow?  We could go cycling, hiking, climbing, or even head down a ravine… This is what my parents ask me every time we go out to the country and I never know what to choose. I want to do it all!

The good thing is that we can do different activities throughout the year in places you’d never imagine.

If you are looking for fun, adventure and family sports, Guara Somontano is the place you’ve been dreaming of.

There is so much to do and so many options available that you just need to choose the one that you want the most, depending on the time of the year and your preferences. Here, we give you several ideas that will surely help you plan your trip.

In the vicinity of Barbastro there are two multi-adventure parks, equipped with everything you need to have a fun, entertaining and exciting day.

Guara Somontano has an extensive network of trails and routes which you can do on foot or by mountain bike. The ones we suggest here are more simple and without great difficulty, although you always have to take precautions and carry the necessary material.

There are also unforgettable experiences to be had, such as horseback riding in the vicinity of the Sierra de Guara and enjoying a swim in the hypersaline waters of Salinar de Naval, where it is impossible to sink.

If you are a bit more of a thrill seeker and you want to have a true adventure right in the heart of nature, Guara Somontano has no shortage of options. You can practise climbing, take a via ferrata or try canyoning. As these are activities that require specific technical and material knowledge, we recommend you take the advice and accept the service of the guides offered by active tourism companies in the area. This way you can enjoy the day to the fullest, at the same tame as keeping safe.

Since respecting and conserving nature is everyone's task, we encourage you to follow some very simple advice which will help us to leave no trace on the environment. Help us achieve a Sustainable Somontano!
