Route description

This route runs through Somontano’s many different landscapes. At the northern end the rugged Sierra de Guara, with its magnifi cent system of ravines, stands at the gateway to the Pyrenees. The route then leads on to gently undulating Mediterranean foothills where vineyards, olive groves and almond orchards fl ourish in a setting where the presence of man can be felt. The route is lined with beautiful buildings and delightful towns and villages such Adahuesca and Alquézar, which take us back to bygone days.
