“La Malena” communication visitor centre . Castejón del Puente
This building follows the constructive model that was popular in the cities of Aragon in the 16th century. It has been tastefully restored to create a welcoming space where the importance of this locality as a historical crossroad is explained. From Roman times to the present era, several cultures have enriched the history of Castejón del Puente, which is revealed in attractions such as the Roman road, the medieval way of Saint James, the remains of the bridge over the Cinca River and the railroad. In the environs of the town there is a signposted road to the Sanctuary of La Bella (Romanesque origin) and to a number of restored trenches from the Spanish Civil War.

Somontano spring wells visitor centre. Laluenga

The southern part of Somontano has relatively few water springs that are accessible on at ground level, which in the past forced people to design a system to access underground springs and maintain them. This gave rise to unique spring wells, which are vaulted underground chambers where people could gather water. The secrets of these innovative works of hydraulic engineering are now in display in the centre.
There is also a route known as the Spring Wells of Somontano, which starts in Laluenga (home of the Pozo Nuevo) and goes to Ponzano, Lagunarrota, Monesma de San Juan, Adahuesca and Laperdiguera.

Somontano wine zone. Barbastro
As the nerve centre of wine tourism, the Somontano Wine Zone offers visitors two distinct different attractions. The first is an impressive circular room, which is the setting for an audio-visual programme that is shown on a 7 metres wide screen. It gives an attractive and lasting impression of what a visitor can enjoy in the region through the eyes of a photographer whose visit to Somontano changes her destiny. The programme allows a glimpse at possible winery visits, charming accommodation, excellent restaurants and the kind of dramatic landscape that the region is famous for. After the film the visitor can interact with wine by means of an aromatic trail that hints at heady aromas such as coffee, banana, vanilla and fruits of the forest. These are indicative of the aromatic characteristics revealed during the first phase of a wine tasting.
The second area is a modern, elegant tasting room and conference area, fully equipped with the latest technology. It is used for a variety of activities directed at tourists, wineries, viticulturists and any other groups interested in taking part in innovative activities linked to the world of
wine and its culture.
