Day 1: Discover the capital city of Barbastro with visits to the Somontano Visitor Centre, the Wine Zone, the cathedral, the San Francisco complex and the ice house. A visit to a winery within the D.O. Somontano, with tour and wine tasting included, is the perfect way to round off the day.

Day 2: Visit to the medieval village of Alquézar with its castle, collegiate church, Museum of Sacred Art and the Casa Fabian museum. Once here you cannot leave without following the spectacular Footbridges route that drops down to follow the last stretch of the River Vero.

Day 3: Visit the Cave Art Visitor Centre the rock paintings of Mallata in Colungo (declared a World Heritage Site) then onto the village of Buera to take in the olive oil mill, the Dulcis shrine and the olive grove. .

Day 4: This day takes you to the heart of the Sierra de Guara National Park. In Bierge pay a visit to the Guara Visitor Centre, the medieval paintings of San Fructoso chapel and take part in a guided tour of a typical olive oil mill. Finish off the day with a walk along the banks of the Alcanadre River from the Pedruel bridge to the Trinidad shrine.

Day 5: Today take a trip to Naval and visit the Pottery Visitor Centre and the Rolda salt flats. From here head to the Torreciudad shrine, the Ecostean olive oil mill and Bodega Olvena.

Day 6: On your last day head to Laluenga to visit the Somontano Spring Well Visitor Centre and the Pozo Nuevo before moving on to see the well of Laperdiguera. Time also to visit the church of Santa Maria La Blanca and the chapel of Santa Águeda in Berbegal; the church of Santa Maria in Peralta de Alcofea, and the archaeological site of La Torraza and church of Nuestra Señora in El TormilloEl Tormillo
